The worst customer service ever!!! – Took ages to finally get Dan to come out for a quote....then nothing...when i tried to call the company back no answer for three days then when i finally got through a very rude customer service person who seemed not to care about anything...Update as of Dec 18th nearly two months after they took my deposit. They arrived with the wrong awning!!!! I have cancelled the order...will not do any more business with them. I am glad my deposit was on a credit card so i have some leverage.
Spectacular Awnings – Received first class attn from the Owner (Dan) upon presentation of the materials, costs, scheduling. Assisted us with Professional Pamphlets to present to our HOA. We had chosen speared awnings on our new home, which looks fabulous! Installers took their time to make sure installation was done to perfection. Stop Here Horrible customer service – We signed up the owner came out, gave us a quote took our deposit nad never heard from him again. It took a long time to schedule them to come out, when they did they brought the wrong stuff.Finally got it installed and the bracket has now ripped a hole in the canvas. Still waiting for a call back a for it to be replaced.We discovered them at the fair. Look elswhere completely frustrated,owner has bad business skills. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!
Initial Consult Looks Promising – Dan stopped by to show us all the available awnings and how the process would work. He was obviously very knowledgeable and had a huge variety and inventory from which to choose. I know his company has a successful track record in our neighborhood.
The Best Awning and Shade Products – United Home Improvement is one great awning contractor: smart, reliable, efficient, and well-priced. I dealt directly with the owner. He is a true professional and his staff was great. He also went above and beyond in many respects - like calling to give us status on the manufacturing process of the awnings and accommodating an impromptu graduation party. Took large deposit and have not installed – Be carefull with this company We paid them a large deposit to do our backyard patio covers in December 2008. It's now March 20th They tell us a different story every week as to why they failed to show up on the scheduled installation day. I plan to file an action next week in an attempt to get our deposit back. I'll keep you updated. .

United Home Improvement is Excellent! – We recently had two retractable awnings installed by United Home Improvement. The service from beginning to end was first rate. We found them through their website. We set an appointment for a Saturday. Our estimator spent over two hours laying out our project. Excellent From Beginning to End! – I bought awnings from United Home Improvement. The service was first rate from beginning to the final installation. With all the remodeling that my husband and I have done in the last two years this was the best experience yet. We love our retractable awning and the speared awnings that they did. Highly recommended!!!
