Absolutely disappointed in this company My dad had several burial policies between united and global Global paid out the remaining funds with no problem at all. United heritage is making me go through so many hoops to get policy paid. They are making me open an estate just for a few thousand dollars. I will be talking to VA who purchased these policies and let them know my experience and request they stop buying burial funds with this company. My mother took out a $2000 policy in 2008. She passed away in 2026. Over the course of that time she paid $32.75 a month for over 18 years. The total amount was in excess of $7075. This type of insurance should be illegal. I consider this elder abuse and think legislation should be initiated to stop this type of extortion. She could have put the same amount away and then stopped after 5 years and been able to utilize that $32.75 for another 13 years for her own benefit.
