My mother took out a $2000 policy in 2008. She passed away in 2026. Over the course of that time she paid $32.75 a month for over 18 years. The total amount was in excess of $7075. This type of insurance should be illegal. I consider this elder abuse and think legislation should be initiated to stop this type of extortion. She could have put the same amount away and then stopped after 5 years and been able to utilize that $32.75 for another 13 years for her own benefit. I had united heritage for 6 years no claims. I did have my roof looked at but never filed a claim or work done against it. Insurance canceled!!!
Honestly I never had problems here with their propert insurance and were very helpful when I had to finnaly use it and quick turn around sad to see they are stopping the property insurance side
