This is the worse. I am not sure why schools try to force students to opt-in. The waiver process is a joke and even once you send the required docs, you are stuck in limbo until whoever works in the waiver dept decides to look at it. There in no phone number to the verification dept and I know why.
STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID. Hate this MANDATORY stupid school insurance. Hate it with a passion. So absolutely heated right now. Why the actual **** would a school chose this idiotic EXPENSIVE and useless insurance even when it doesn't cover MANDATORY things that the school FORCES you to do!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!? Avoid if at all possible. Unfortunately this happens to be the plan offered by many schools which is why I currently have it. They don't cover anything. After visiting the doctor for preventative services that I was assured should be covered by my insurance I was sent two bills totaling around $300. The claim was denied. After reviewing my policy and the information online about the affordable care act I refiled the claim and quoted why my claim was valid and it should be covered. If you can at all avoid getting insurance with this company then please do it!!! They mess stuff up constantly! I’ve talked with them over 30 times and they still don’t have my stuff sorted out.
