This company is a scam, even if your job offers this insurance, you can do so much better getting your own. Every single bill that came in the mail I had to pay in full because United healthcare had no intentions of paying their share. What’s the point of paying for insurance when they won’t even cover your bill!!!! Disgusting company
United is by far the worst insurance I have worked with. You pay over $1200 a month for your family then United allows the hospital to charge you 20-30x the Medicare fee schedule for simple lab work. I was charged $216.00 for a CBC blood test. The max Medicare with reimburse this test is $7.77. So I get punished for having not yet met my deductible and have to wayyyyy more than insurance would ever pay for labs. My company will 100% be leaving at the end of the year.
