This company is awful! Every claim that has been submitted for my family has been denied first then have to fight to get ahold of someone to find out why and for it to be corrected. Spent so much time on the phone. One of the issues was my daughter broke her arm. Received EOB, not covered because doctor is not in network. Doctor is in the largest facility in West Michigan which is in network and was verified as being in network. They will do anything and everything to not pay your claims!! Will never use them again! Phone number doesn't work, can't find a phone number on their website, state approved my Medicaid and told me it likely used my same account numbers as before but online it says I don't have coverage but can't call them to find out if there's new phone numbers, guess I can just die without any medical help or supplies.
UHC is awful! Paying thousands a month and unable to use for any optomotrist other than big chains. Thought it couldn't be as bad as I'm thinking and was left with my contacts out sitting over an hour amongst others waiting at a commercial eye chain. Needing to get my children's eyes checked and no one accepts broad access plan through my husband's employer other than these chains. We should be able to use our insurance where WE see fit.
