My husband and I have been living at the Pinnacle at Forts Ferry since March 2022 . It is a 55+ Independent Living building. The United Group has been the third one to.mansge it and the worst by far. Staff is untrained and often rude. There is frequent turnover. The cleaning service has been eliminated which resulted in our public areas being dirty. Do not rent at the cresendo. Upon move-out, manager Ibrahim threatened me multiple times with felony charges for not returning keys on his terms, despite my emergency. I offered to pay my balance, but he sent it to collections. Returning keys was a hassle; I mailed them with tracking before 2 PM today. The building has a severe mouse and rat infestation. Living at The Apex at Crossgates, managed by United Group, has been a highly disappointing experience. There are persistent issues that seriously impact residents’ quality of life—elevators are frequently out of service, fire alarms go off randomly without cause, and despite supposed policies, people openly smoke in the building without consequence.
