I'm really happy with our current union rep (Mercadies). We've been through a few reps in the last 4 years, and she is wonderful! She is very attentive to our needs and makes sure she continues to communicate with us! She listens to what issues we are experiencing and makes sure to address them promotly! She goes out of her way to introduce herself when she hasn't met you yet before! I truly hope she stays with us at my location!
Mercedes was amazing. I realized I had not received my second pay increase per the new contract. She handled it in less than a week. My pay was corrected immediately. I’m so grateful for reps like Mercedes who see a concern and solve it. Thank you UFCW 367!!
I was there to pick up the buttons and flyers for the union workers that are trying to get better staffing better hours. Their shifts are staggered in so many different ways. It's hard to make arrangements for babysitting or make appointments. They're not guaranteed 40 hours a week. They're usually on skeleton crews. If someone calls in sick. my union rep has gone above and beyond for my needs at work!
Bad experience and I noticed one of the Union employees placed a high rating with no review. The fees are required to keep your job but you have the option of not participating and receiving no benefits from the fees that are still required to be paid. In addition, they go out of their way to make signing up for an automatic deduction the most convenient way to pay so instead of getting a paycheck and making decisions about where that money goes, the employees simply never see the money the union claims as it's fee.
