Do not waste your money on membership. I have received the worst representation and no access to attorneys. I was blocked from one representatives cell phone due to saying I felt they were coming across bias. The new representative I worked with, NEVER responded to emails. I had to chase him for information and then was lied to about assistance I would be receiving for unemployment hearing. UEA has always been easily accessible when I have needed them. I have spoken to reps and attorneys quickly when needed. The coverage they provide and level of expertise is top notch. The fact that they are local and have a contact on every campus is a bonus. They are there for educators when they need them. I am so thankful to be part of an association that cares about the needs of teachers and staff members.
UEA is always accessible and I have spoken right to an attorney when needed. They also provide great liability coverage.
