My experience with Dave was nothing like two recent reviews, posted following his buy of United Decorators (UD) from Paul, whose excellent reputation speaks for itself. My mom used UD many times years ago, most likely when Paul was there, so I turned to UD for my own reupholstering needs. In this case, for a tired old loveseat needing some tender loving care. The 100+ five -star reviews date back to the prior owner. We used Paul for several projects and he and his team were exceptional. The new owner, Dave, is not. We had a simple 2 window motorized shade project and they recommended a custom fabric company as an alternative to Hunter Douglas, which we had purchased before. Please stay far away from Dave at United Decorators. I had worked with Paul for a number of years who was wonderful but is no longer at United Decorators. Dave has now taken over and is dishonest, unconcerned about quality and has disregard for any level of service. The work the team did had many issues, they didn’t return all my extra (expensive fabric) and Dave has been uninterested in resolving any of these issues. Please take your business elsewhere.
Great experience. Very professional. This is exactly what we should expect from all businesses. This place nailed it. My chair had a lot of nooks and crannies and I wondered how they’d be able to handle it. They did an amazing job. Dave - you do great work. Thank you. Hope to see you again for another project.
