United Club in Terminal C is exactly the kind of airport oasis every traveler hopes to stumble into. The bar is the star of the show—friendly bartenders, great pours, and a relaxed vibe that makes even a tight layover feel like a mini‑vacation. We purchased 2 day passes in Houston before flying from Cancun. Upon arrival at the club, signs were posted that they would not honor day passes. Given that our day pass had been purchased same day, it is absurd that United would accept payment and then deny service with a 7-14 day refund window. The staff at the counter was short and did not provide any options until I asked about a refund. Extremely disappointed in United’s lack of communication or care for its guests using airport clubs.
The food is okay and it’s very crowded.
Decent lounge with good food but bar doesn't open until 7....
