Follow up May 2026 Josh called and said UBH can help! I did not think they were the people to call when having issues 2 yrs later. Josh got the owner of the AC company to come out and see my issues. They got it fixed that day and did not charge me. They apologized for not telling me I could still call UBH when something is wrong. The AC owner gave his biz card to me if there is a need to talk to him vs his team. Even 10 yrs later I can call and Josh will try to help. If fixable, depending on the issue he will do it. The entire team at the Conroe office is very friendly and professional. They have done a terrific job guiding us through the beginning stages of the process and they continue to clearly communicate with us along the way.
Construction build was great and Josh's team was amazing. My daugthers and I love the home he built for us in 2023..... 2026 UBH was disappointing ...after 2.5 yrs! I can honestly say I felt they did the least possible in the build. They guilt u that u didn't read all the small print and beg for stars. I got spray foam insulation and a "special" AC for it. Its been a PITA Lennox and already replaced a valve and fan! I had to replace the water heater within 1 yr. The door frames not painted on top edges making for harder dust... read more

Overall, we had a good experience with United Built Homes (UBH). Construction quality was solid, most issues were resolved quickly, and our builder did an excellent job. The main problems came near the end when our builder was transferred from the Conroe office to the League City/Galveston office. My biggest concern is UBH’s in-house financing. It sounds great—no money down and no payments for months—but refinancing later was a nightmare. I planned to refinance through a VA loan after construction and was told this would be ... read more
