I am at the branch right now, I wanted to width draw some fund from my business checking account. The teller sent me back and told me that there is no fund in my account. Although, I have over 23k fund available. I had to call a branch manager of an another branch in North Carolina. She confirmed that I have the fund available in my account. I had to put her on loud speaker and then came back to the counter and the ladies finally helped me with my withdrawal.
In all of the years that I have been dealing with this branch here in Manassas, it has not lost its friendliness and small town feel. It is refreshing to be welcomed by name when I walk in the door. Everyone in the bank is eager to help in any way that they can. More much larger (more locations) banks should use this branch as a model for customer service.
If you have nothing to do and have nothing but free time on your hand, this is the perfect BANK for you !! But if you're like the 97 % of the population, time is hard to come by, so definitely stay away from UNITED BANK!!!! I've been going there for years, and even if I'm the only one in the bank lines, I can't get out of there under 17 minutes over 92% on the time and each time I'm told if you open an account with us your experience and time will be alot better!! Branch Manager Nicole Merkle handled my request with professionalism and friendliness. She always has.
For the third time someone has hacked my debit card and the fraud department has canceled my debit card. While I appreciate that to prevent further fraud, the branch acts like it's no big deal. It's an everyday norm. 7-10 business days to get a new card or pay $50 to expedite. Why am I paying to expedite? I feel like the bank is punishing ME for this.
