Stopped in to buy a chainsaw and had awesome customer service. The gentleman did not try to sale me something that was to big for the job. He had good knowledge and showed me which one was the best deal.
I bought a 5085E tractor and busted a rear axle that they would not warranty. I had no water in the tires and no extra weight on the back of the tractor. I was using the loader to push on a stump. insurance said it was a faulty part but john deere wouldn't pay. I won't buy any more. I need a ZTR this spring, and it wont be green. Could have made their $500 back within a year.
Needed a backpack leaf blower and had already stopped at two other Stihl dealers and didn’t get much in the way of service. Happened to be in the Farmington area so I stopped at Farmington Valley Equipment. Great service and very knowledgeable staff. Left with a new Stihl blower!
Excellent business. Reliable staff. Speedy service. Always have what I need. Best place to buy a tractor or any lawn related item. They have generators and kids toys and lots of apparel to keep looking good while mowing your lawn. A++++++
Please avoid going to fish and still in Marshall,tx. This place is ran without an ounce of respect. They will leave you standing at the counter without any assistance. Horrible place of business, This is the only place you can buy OEM replacements locally and nobody answers phones in service and then act like you are bothering them when you finally ask for a little help. The parts department needs more training. Often they look up the wrong parts even when given machine serial numbers. The parts department fail to explore the parts manual further to make sure what parts are or are not included in a kit, and must be ordered as a seperate assembly. The parts staff often fails to notify customers when the parts that are ordered arrive.
Unfortunately this business has changed. The turnover in staff is increasing and some employees are no longer knowledgeable on inventory. It’s nice to support small business but being inconsistent is not good when parts are needed. I hope this improves. Low pay, constant change and poor inventory will not have long time customers returning.
