Upon checking in the lines were absolutely ridiculous on the curbside when you walk inside there is no line. It’s just globes of people standing around trying to figure out how to pull back tags.. when I stood in one of the lines for 1K since I could not see any first class Lines I was directed to other around the corner, which once again didn’t look like a line just looked like a massive people trying to figure out how to pull back tags and boarding passes. I would choose ANY other airline and maybe a bus over United! Their staff is extremely rude and patronizing. They are short staffed and take it out on customers. I needed a gate pass to accompany my disabled family member and the united staff were rude to her and nearly made her cry by saying “can’t you see how busy we are?? We don’t do gate passes! Just put her in a wheelchair” she doesn’t need a wheelchair. She has a cognitive disability and we have always been able to guide her to her gate. It took 4 staff members and an ... read more

Forces people to check bags for no reason, plenty of overhead space.
UAL defrauded us. We purchased two first class tickets on March 27 for a flight to Chicago. Yesterday (May 9) we checked in on line, got our boarding passes which I put in my Apple wallet and sent one to my husband. We got to the airport this morning to find we had no tickets, no record and everything was removed from my phone and United account.
