Avoid if you are a AA woman with thicker, more corse hair. They do not know how to properly handle our hair with care. They cause extreme hair damage to our types of hair. The blow dryers are so old, they use the same brushes and hair combs repeatedly on customers which isn't hygienic. Products are alcohol based. They do not like to be told anything, want to do whatever is easier for them. So many red flags.
I have my suspicions about this place. I’m not sure if they’re using some type of chemicals in their products but it’s not good. Back in Fall 2023, I went in for a wash/set/flat iron. My hair was heat damaged for months! In the Spring of 2025, I wanted a quick wash (that’s it). AGAIN! My hair texture has changed with just a wash, no heat. I’m confused as to what is happening and wanted some answers. I’m not sure of anyone else has experienced the change in texture + hair falling out in pieces after visiting this location.
