Here at UCAN, we are driven by a single goal: to do our part in making the Sandpoint special needs community stronger. At UCAN our mission is to empower special needs individuals through fitness and nutrition. We plan to provide group exercise, nutrition guidance, social interaction, and fun. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in the lives of these unique individuals in our community. I love UFit for so many reasons. This is a place where I have the freedom to do the prescribed workout, a group class, or another type of workout at my discretion. I can bring my 5-year-old to play in the incredible and safe area established for children, where she’ll likely see some of her friends and have the positive reinforcement of how exercising contributes to a healthy lifestyle. I've had the opportunity to be a member of UFIT since it opened almost two years ago. The overall environment created through an amazing member base, positive coaches and a mission focused on making a positive impact in our community can't be beat. UFIT isn't just a place I go to workout, it's a place I go to grow and cultivate relationships with some of Sandpoint's most amazing individuals.
Nutrition planning with UFIT as not only helped me physically, but it has greatly lowered my stress levels during a busy work week. I can not say enough for how much the meals have helped me to efficiently grocery shop and meal prep. Kelli is extremely responsive to my needs and concerns and is always there when I need some accountability.
