Hired this company to repoint and repair the brownstone. Constantly truant or absent. Did not finish on schedule and destroyed property because care was not taken. The finished product is discolored, cracked and irregular. He is trying to convince me that following flaws in the pictures is normal and that things need to dry. Unique A1Contracting Inc , does excellent work In Brownstone restoration. They take their time and the skillset and workmanship is outstanding. Pasha the owner of the company is extremely pleasant, easy to work with and very fair . The workers who are skilled are easy to work with and care about the quality of their work and time. The entire staircase at 119 Hall Street was restored in May 2016 , it has held up beautifully. We also had the Bluestone leveled in the front gated area of the house. Hired company to repair front stoop, point, water proof and repair wall at the rear of home. The work on the back of the house was done beautifully. The stairs is looking really great. This company is very tidy and cleans up everyday before leaving. They even washes down my neighbor's stairs or any car that is park next to their work area. I seem happy with the work being done.

In April of 2017 I did go into a contract with Pasha of A1 contracting inc and at that time he told me the project to restore my Bed Stuy Brownstone will take approximately 6 to 8 weeks. Fast forward to a year and a half later A1 contracting left me with an incomplete job.If you do decide to hire A1 do not pay them in advance. I also wanted for him to do the back of my house which I paid $3800.00 ,to this date he did not do it.
