Unfortunately, this was the worst blowout experience I’ve ever had. I get blowouts regularly and have never had to leave one midway through before. The hair wash was rough and left my hair extremely tangled. During the blow dry, no brush was used to detangle it, which only made the situation worse. By the time they tried to brush through my hair, it was so tangled that a significant amount of hair was being pulled and breaking (chunks of my hair were on the floor). I've gotten my hair cut here since college days and each time its been a 10/10 experience. From the hairwash to the cut and the styling, the stylist (Alan) made sure to take their time and that I was satisfied. I usually come in as a walk-in and at most I've only had to wait 10 mins before a stylist was ready for me. And for the price ($35 pre tip) this place cannot be beat.
I get blowouts regularly and have genuinely never had an experience this bad. I actually had to walk out of the appointment midway through because I was so concerned about the amount of hair being pulled and broken. The hair wash was extremely aggressive and left my hair completely tangled into what was essentially a bird’s nest. Horrible experience. Hair washing was very aggressive to the point where it was painful and unenjoyable. Blow drying was a nightmare, because my hair kept getting tangled in the brush and was immensely painful. No heat protectant was used on my hair, and better yet, he started curling my hair when it was only about 75% dry.
