Phoned today to confirm they were open. Got a generic message apologizing that they can’t take my call. Website says open until 5. Go there at about 3:30. Doors locked, and paper sign indicating that they close at 2:00pm this week. I would have liked a website update, or a phone message update.
Atrocious wait times despite having an appointment booked and it being early on a weekday. The staff were polite but this experience was completely unacceptable. I will not be returning to this location. I had an appointment at 12pm and arrived at 11:53. The receptionist was kind enough to print my requisition form for me as I do not have access to a printer at home. Overall the staffs are really nice. My ultrasound test is smooth and on time, good communication too. As I need to do the X-rays as well, not too good at all, wait another one and a half hour..... Better to improve the appointment schedule.
I’ve had a great experience with Unionville Diagnostic over the years, and their recent service reminded me to finally write this review. I received timely reminders for my ultrasound appointment, and the front desk even called to offer an earlier time to minimize my fasting wait. They gave clear prep instructions when I called in, and the ultrasound technician (Adriana?) was both skilled and caring, making the procedure as smooth and comfortable as possible. I believe the technician needs retraining in respect, privacy and infection control. I recently had an ultrasound in my private area, and the experience was quite distressing. After completing the procedure, the technician placed a cloth on my body and left the room without a word—leaving the door open while immediately calling in the next patient.
