Unconscionable – Go to this vet only if you hate your pet. After years of bringing my pet here and giving them money for well check ups, when she was in crisis they refused to see her, saying only that they "only had one emergency spot available" per day. When they were told of her symptoms, the vet said, "it's probably just behavioral." No, in fact it was not. best vet clinic for miles around – The new vet, Dr. Scanlon is great - explains without alarming caregiver and is very gentle with pets. All the staff are quite good.

all good things must come to an end – For all the people who loved this veterinary clinic... Dr. Murphy is gone. The replacement vet is subpar. Time to find another clinic.

Down to Earth, straightforward, caring! – I absolutely love this clinic. I took the first kitten I've been "parent" to, a barn rescue, here, and the staff is great. Dr. Murphy is fantastic and it's true, you can tell he really loves animals. His assistants are incredibly sweet, they have great hours for people who work 9-5, and I always leave with a complete understanding of what is going on and what I need to do. Great people, very pleased – The folks at Union Square Vet were absolutely spectacular during my most recent visit. I brought them what turned out to be a very sick cat; Dr. Murphy was extremely gentle in assessing the situation, which was much worse than I wanted to admit. Despite the dire prognosis, the assistants spent the next two hours making my cat (and me!) as comfortable as possible. Best Vet in the Area! – We simply LOVE Dr. Murphy! He is extremely kind and gentle to our pets as well as being honest and down to earth. You can tell he really loves animals. He will tell you if something is wrong, but if it is something the pet can live with, he won't insist on medical treatment. He never makes us feel that we are "bad parents" if you will. The staff is professional and are always willing to accomodate our busy schedules.

Dr. Murphy is a great vet – Dr. Murphy is a wonderful vet. I've had only the best experiences taking my cats to him. It's obvious he really cares about animals. He's very sweet and gentle with them. He's very thorough in any examination and will answer any questions. He doesn't sugarcoat things, but he wants you to know what you have to do to help your pet be healthy. Apparently he doesn't give out bulk prescriptions, but as a licensed vet he probably has reasons for that.

Dr. Murphy? More like Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde – Dr. Murphy seems like a nice, easy going Vet at first, but over many months of treatment for my dog I found him to be condescending, judgmental, and oblivious to the financial realities of tratment. For example, he refused to write me a prescription for meds at a bulk quantity so I could get them from Canada. He just couldn't see my need to get meds at 1/2 price and rudely outright refused.
