Went to Dr. Schneebaum years ago for what a subsequent gastroenterologist would later describe as "red flag symptoms" and was, bizarrely, told that these could be explained by the fact that "some people have trouble digesting ice cream" (though he did not ask for details of my current diet) and sent home for some bloodwork with no followup. Rather unprofessional and seemingly uninterested in my condition. Staff was untruthful about paperwork processing and took over two weeks to work with my pharmacy on a prescription that could have taken one day to process. Then, lied to me about submitting that paperwork several times. Did not advocate on my behalf for prescription approval. Schneebaum is not a doctor worth seeing. Period. Stay away.
