I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience with Jasmin at Union Salon South was so shockingly bad, I feel obligated to warn others. From the moment I walked in, her attitude was beyond rude — no greeting, no effort, and a complete lack of basic respect. She acted like she didn’t want to be there and made it very clear she didn’t want to deal with me. Overall very sad and disappointed I spent $780 on a coloring job that didn’t look like my inspiration picture I showed the stylist. My recommendation is to look at the IG pages of the stylist and go with someone who has done work similar to what you have in mind. I worked with Shanan who was very kind and friendly but I don’t think the execution came out well as there were so many differences from my inspiration picture (see screenshot). I recently had a frustrating experience at union salon that I feel compelled to share. After getting uneven orange highlights, I returned to have them fixed. The stylist assured me she would help, and I specifically requested that she not darken my hair but instead use the same color toner. To my dismay, without any prior warning, she took me to the bowl and dyed my hair back to the dark brown I originally had. I had such a great experience with Kristin! She was kind, friendly, and approachable right from the start, which instantly made me feel comfortable. She truly takes her time to get things right--her attention to detail is amazing, and I couldn't be happier with my haircut. Kristin really listens and is very accommodating to what you need.
