Overall very sad and disappointed I spent $780 on a coloring job that didn’t look like my inspiration picture I showed the stylist. My recommendation is to look at the IG pages of the stylist and go with someone who has done work similar to what you have in mind. I recently had a frustrating experience at union salon that I feel compelled to share. After getting uneven orange highlights, I returned to have them fixed. The stylist assured me she would help, and I specifically requested that she not darken my hair but instead use the same color toner. To my dismay, without any prior warning, she took me to the bowl and dyed my hair back to the dark brown I originally had. I had such a great experience with Kristin! She was kind, friendly, and approachable right from the start, which instantly made me feel comfortable. I had an amazing cut and style with Kristin this past weekend. I have always had good experiences with Union Salon South, and after my original hair stylist moved away I have tried a variety of different stylists here and have always been happy with my results. But Kristin goes above and beyond, giving tips and tricks about haircuts -- and even volunteered to help a curly hair girl like me learn how best to leave my hair curly or straighten it.
