The issue was a faulty condenser in the portable unit, which they diagnosed and repaired within an hour. Compared to past service calls, this visit was efficient, and the technician clearly explained each step of the process.
I was initially concerned about the technician's punctuality, but he arrived promptly and completed the preventive maintenance in about an hour, explaining the steps as he went. This visit was more thorough compared to last year's service with a different company.
I expected another lengthy dismantlement process based on my previous experience, but this technician identified and resolved an underlying wiring issue that reduced the overall time to around 2 hours. Comparing both visits, it was evident that their attention to detail made a significant difference in addressing the root cause efficiently.
I hoped for a thorough diagnosis and repair, and the technician took about an hour to find a clogged coil that was causing our A/C issues, which he cleaned meticulously. While this visit resolved the immediate problem, I appreciated that he explained how we could prevent similar issues in the future.
The heating system installation took most of the afternoon, which seemed reasonable given the complexity of replacing outdated components and ensuring everything was aligned properly. After a previous poor experience with another contractor, I appreciated their clear communication and meticulous attention to detail throughout the process.
