Norma J. Smith The most completely relaxing, warm and comfortable spot I have found recently. Everything was so clean and fresh. I had a short time to unwind and this spot turned out to be the perfect place. I know there were museums and other attractions in the area but I settled in for a quiet reprieve. The next morning I was treated to a fantastic breakfast which I had planned earlier. The inn-keepers were attentive, thoughtful and prompt in arriving with breakfast. It was a lovely experience. A Wonderful Home Away From Home! My husband and I stayed at this lovely guest house for a week on a combination business/leisure trip. Although I was working 50 minutes away from Leavenworth in Kansas City, the drive was well worth the time and inconvenience -- we could not have asked for a better place to have as "home base." The guest house is a restored turn of the 19th century home. The restoration work is phenomenal -- great attention to period details was taken by the owners.
