If you are filing a claim before one year of having the policy, do your homework/footwork - sign releases and have all medical records sent to Union One yourself. That will speed up the process. Claims advocates respond to email, but calling is faster.

Scam scam scam! They claimed to be a part of the teamsters union yet no one knows who they are. We signed up due to their scare tactic ads stating we wouldn’t have short term disability coverage and that they were a part of the union. Later finding out there is coverage and the local union hall didn’t even know who they were. After a BBB complaint we were told to request a refund, we did and were denied. Scam keeps getting bigger and bigger!
