Bought this worthless AD&D policy through my union and now I want to cancel it but they won't answer the phone or call me back. This company is fraudulent.
The people working here are incredibly rude and disrespectful of your time. They will message you consistently and constantly asking you for information that they want you to give them IMMEDIATELY. And then they will just ghost you for weeks. This organization does the complete opposite of what they claim their goals are. The employees here just lie to you and tell you good things they will do for you just to make you feel good, then they will just ignore you and ghost you without reason once you leave the building. Very stingy and over priced for any disability policies. Aflac is better. They also don't follow through with phone calls when promised.
If you are filing a claim before one year of having the policy, do your homework/footwork - sign releases and have all medical records sent to Union One yourself. That will speed up the process. Claims advocates respond to email, but calling is faster.
