We came in on a Saturday afternoon at 3:40 and ordering to sit down. We asked if we could get the Smashburger even though it said available at 4. The waitress said no with quite an attitude and was unfriendly and rude the rest of the transaction, she also put the wrong number in for our table making us wait. The vegan club on gluten-free bread is so, so delicious! Filling, fresh and priced well.
Me and my partner LOVE this place. Tried everything on menu so far and it’s all good. Best smash burgers in Churchill! Staff are nice, although very busy and stretched thin sometimes. Saw some reviews that it isn’t kid friendly, but I go multiple times a month for past 2 years and I’ve never seen staff be mean to customers with kids. I’m a frequent customer and love this place! Their vegetarian Reuben sandwich with tofu is AMAZING and they have unique snacks, drinks, desserts, food options and cool, friendly staff! Today, I met Wren who made a citrus pie with cream cheese, lime and a berry compote. He introduced himself and was so pleasant! The pie was very yummy and the perfect, sweet end to a long day!
Every time I go out to eat in Richmond, it's weird as hell. Union is the only exception. The staff are nice, and the food is really good. My favorite place to buy a fun afternoon drink (coffee sodas and kombucha).
