What a hidden gem. Doesn't look much from the outside but my room was excellent and the food the same. Recommend it.
Definitely the best rooms in Nhill. Located in an old country pub, perfect for some good old Aussie nostalgia, but once you get upstairs (yes the floors and staircase creak, but show me an old county pub that doesn't) you'll find lovely, renovated spacious rooms, with modern bathroom facilities and quiet split systems. Service was absolutely lovely. Great comfortable spot for a beer. Staff are very kind and entertaining. Cozy unique bar with a touch of history.
We came in on the drive to Melbourne a tad after 8pm and they kindly said no issue and served us happily. Thursday night schnitzel night and they were very tasty. Not a rowdy pub even with the AFL on. Thank you
