Seriously, how useless can a company be? After spending months with them to figure out how to pay my property taxes and hazard insurance, a year later and I am STILL HAVING ISSUES!!!!! The tax part has been resolved but we had agreed not to ESCROW my Property insurance as I will pay it directly and yet they disperse payment to a company that is no longer my insurance company. I cant fathom how ridiculous this company is. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
We have worked with Union Home Mortgage to refinance our prior home, and most recently, to buy our new home. Our Loan Officer was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were treated like people and not like a number. The process was very smooth and quick. My experience back then was so amazing that when rates went down I decided to do some finance shuffling and so refinanced my loan through them again. I bought my first home in July 2021 and had the best experience with Union Home Mortgage. I was notified every step of the way and it was such a smooth process. My realtor was shocked at how smooth everything went and said Union Home made the process so much easier for her as well! I had a question on my payment and customer service answered right away and was very helpful! Highly recommend Union Home!
BEWARE--we used UHM to buy 2 parcels in one lot in June 2021 in Ohio. Post closing team did not even enter info on second lot to calculate tax, nor included a house as an improvement according to title company. Paying LOTS MORE than the amount estimated in tax....2 months to get this escrow mess worked out already. Extremely rude/poor service. If you use UHM--figure in the cost of a real estate lawyer to review closing docs. Don't get surprise unpaid tax bills at your home like us!
