Do not use this company. I was lied to several times about a start date. After threats to return my deposit they showed up nine weeks later. Installed the new shingles, but they used the wrong color, and had to strip the roof again, and redo. Looks nice, but they covered a vent for an exhaust fan in a hallway, oven exhaust fan does not work now, broke the back porch light fixture. I think I finally have all the nails picked up in the gravel driveway.
Union Exteriors is a marketing entity that does not perform the work on your home. They sell the jobs then sub-contract the work to actual construction companies. They do not pay their subs on time or in full on the back end of the jobs. We believe it has to do with the company changing ownership multiple times.
I found this company to be very kind and courteous. Mr. Chapell (owner) was extremely understanding when I explained my sudden need for the return of my deposit. He graciously and generously granted my request, even though he didn't have to. Thank you again, Jeff Chapell, for your gracious and kind actions to assist a senior citizen.
I am giving 2 stars because they still have not finished my roof. They did install the roof, but missed one vent. They also have not started on the gutters. The job was supposed to be completed in April. They did not start the job until late May early June. They completed in 3 days and I had the inspection and noticed they missed a vent opening for the master bathroom.
