Good club. Most members are very competent beekeepers. I took their bee school. It was great. Learned lots.
I drove an hour each way because Union was the only county I could find that offered bee school in the fall. (Fall 2018) A great class with friendly volunteers & mentors. I learned enough to buy someone’s colony in December & nursed it through winter. It became a huge, healthy hive! Wonderful instructors & everyone willing to help. Highly recommend Union County Bee School!
I absolutely love the beekeeping class I learned a lot but then after I graduated covid hit and I never got a mentor I never got any hands on training I never even got to buy my bees.
A very friendly group filled with knowledgeable members.
You have to take a bee school with Union County! The energy and set up they have is off the charts!
