Honestly, great place! Was very Ill and these folks had me feeling great in no time. Since 1981 I have had medical issues..i been to hospitals all over the country and seen it all. Union Co Hospital and the staff of PM nurses/ doctors were fantastic!! Would highly recommend
As a traveling medical worker staying only a week in most locations - and more than a thousand miles from home - it can be difficult to find medical care. After calling the local clinic without being able to make an appointment, I went to the Emergency Department. The receptionist/MA was courteous and attentive, and Cindy- the trauma nurse - was professional and adept at her job. The venipuncturist was sharp and talented. I stopped on our way through to another destination and had to stop at the ER here. They were so kind and got me straight back. The 'doctor' did keep saying he wasn't a real doctor but I'm taking it he was joking because he still seemed knowledgeable. I left doing much better than when I got there
I have had great care whenever I’ve had to get medical treatment. UCGH is a small hospital but not small in the care they give. The ER staff was caring and got me right in. The doctor on call was great and saw me very fast. When I had to stay , the nursing staff was friendly, explained everything to me, and listened when I was not feeling well. My boyfriend and I were traveling on Friday afternoon when he started experiencing excruciating head pain.. we stopped by the emergency room here and had the worst health care experience of our lives.. The hospital was not busy and it took almost an hour before even a nurse stopped in to check on him.
