Reserved a room, paid with credit card. Shortly after received check in info. Used a different credit card to put on hold for incidentals. Received texts saying both cards declined (impossible since one was already charged completely and they put a pending hold on the other). We stayed at Union Bluff for a couple nights in October as a little get-away. We had a corner room with lots of windows looking out on the ocean and beach across the street. I could see the waves breaking while I laid on the bed. The bed was extremely comfortable. They put lots of toiletries in the bathroom. There is a small refrigerator with lots of room (not a mini-bar type refrigerator). This room had a very large porch with a pair of comfortable chairs. Nice but small room. Excellent location! Great staff at check in/out.
Clean spacious rooms, gorgeous views. A microwave would be nice.
We were driving along the New England coast and found the restaurant in this hotel, the food was spectacular! I had the haddock Reuben and fresh hand made onion rings it was all so great!!
