Horrible experience! Did not even report my claim value correct. It was reported 4k more and this caused me lose a lot of money during trade in. Had to involve carfax and fix it myself. Adam who was my adjuster did not even cooperate on this error. No longer with them
I had a claim last year for a water leak in my basement. Everything was handled well and with professionalism. However they jacked up my insurance the following year by 40%! Of course I shopped around and got a much better rate - and when I cancelled with Unica, they charged a $700 cancellation fee. Seriously?!
Worst company to deal with. I felt like it was bargain basement pricing and biding. I was hit at a stop light. How with no fault insurance is it costing me money?? Do not deal with this company.
I was involved in a no-fault car accident in mid-December. The other driver swerved into my lane and I provided dash cam footage to UNICA on December 15th. My adjuster was Sean Goss. While Sean initially replied the next day, communication immediately fell apart afterward. Throughout the entire process there were long gaps of silence (6 days, 10 days, 11 days, etc.) despite multiple follow-up emails from me.
