Wonderful experience working with Steve and Under the Tree Design! He's very knowledgeable and passionate about what to plant, and really helped us create outdoor spaces that will work for our family. Steve had lots of great ideas, while allowing us to figure out the right scope for our project so we could stay in budget. Good communicator and a pleasure to work with!
I was at the Home & Garden Show, shopping for a front door, when I came across Steve's booth by chance, and feel very lucky that I did. My husband and I have worked with Steve over the last several years on landscape and plant selections on our property in a historic district. His range of knowledge from terrain and grading issues, to the appropriate selections for our garden and lawn was in stark contrast to some of the “cookie-cutter” landscape designs typically offered by larger firms. Steve visited my home, inspected the site then listened to my wants and needs. He then promptly followed up with a detailed planting plan including plant list and costs. In a matter of less than 2 weeks I went from an empty bed to a beautifully landscaped backyard. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I highly recommend Under the Tree Design!
