I love everything about Uncle Yus. The cocktails are amazing and the food is fresh and tasty. If you go during peak time be prepared to wait.
My daughter & I were treated to the best Chinese food @ Uncle Yu's. We've never tasted such wonderful food. The food portions were great for the price. I've recommended Uncle Yu's to my family & friends. Many of them have come back to me saying they had the best meal with the greatest service & a good atmosphere. We'll continue to go there. We're taking a friend of our's there in a few weeks. We know she'll be very pleased with the meal.
Definite take out Terrific food at Uncle Yu's including very prompt service. The bad and it is a big one, the tables are so close together, the concept of even remotely having a private conversation is thrown out the window. I felt like i was part of the table next to me since I heard every detail of their conversation. I recommend you get your food to go.
Gourmet Chinese Uncle Yu's food makes me realize how Chinese food probably became such a hit in America - the taste is authentic and full of flavor. The atmosphere is slightly elegant (dim lighting, white table cloths, etc.) and would lend itself easily to a romantic dinner or dinner with a colleague.
So tasty! The ambiance of this restaurant is fantastic! A couple dishes is a plenty amount of food for two people! The prices are alittle higher than I would like them to be, but for a once in a while treat - it is great! The service is exceptional! I don't think I ever received such great service! I mean, every time the waitress was at our table, she filled our tea cups (with a tea kettle that was sitting on our table) - just as an example! You will be pleased – Great Food and a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. General Tsao's chicken and lettuce wraps are a must.
