I enjoyed my experience at Uncle Wally’s. As soon as I opened the door to the shop I was pleasantly surprised. The shop was meticulously maintained and smelled delightful. As a woman with limited barbershop experience and unprocessed, naturally tightly-coiled hair, it can be a bit nerve-wracking finding a barbershop where I feel comfortable explaining how I’d like my hair styled (usually with a photo from Pinterest).
