I was recently met Niklous Chiakouris, while he was speaking with Veterans about healthcare benefits. Although I was initially unsure, this option was possible; he clearly explained everything and helped me enroll, even providing my insurance card ahead of time. I'm very grateful to Nick for his help, and I often wonder why veterans with Tricare for Life aren't told about these options sooner. When I was approached by the Humana Medicare Advantage plan I was skeptical and thought it was too good to be true, it took me awhile to decide to give it a try.
