Great new sandwich shop in Lincoln Park/Chicago! Freshest bread anywhere! These kids realy hustle which is nice when you are in a hurry. Try the Little Italy and the Broccoli cheddar soup--oh and don't forget a brownie. They will change your life!
Uncle Sammy's Sandwich Classic is good This is kind of like a Jimmy Johns, but way better in my opinion. The sandwiches are delicious and the service is really fast. I would definitely recommend it if you are hungry and in a hurry.
Great place for lunch in the DePaul area They have the best brownies ever!! I used to live right above them at 1237 West, and they always had little brownie samples out. Their tuna sandwiches are pretty good -- they have raisans in them which add a nice touch. I also like the sandwich with avocado and mozarella. Yum!
Great menu! The menu is original and they are very fast, which I appreciate. However, a can of coke costs 1.50 which is ridiculous! The sandwiches are priced better, though, and I think delivery is free. Totally recommend.

DePaul student's sandwich shop of choice – DePaul students love Uncle Sammy's since it's located so close to campus. A lot of students work here as well, so service is always laid-back and friendly. These subs are big, more filling than Subway or Jimmy John's and they have some creative flavors. The Pilgrim stands out as most unique - it's a Thanksgiving sub with turkey breast, raisin her stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayo. Oh, and their huge Ghiradelli brownies. Totally to die for.

Great catering option – Probably the freshest sandwiches I have ever ordered. The bread was still warm from baking when it arrived. The delivery driver told me they bake the bread for every catering order right befr ethey make it. Well done! The quality of the ingredients was impressive especially at such a low price. Apparently they have an equally impressive list of clientele.
Without a doubt the best sandwiches in Chicago. Delivery is free and the drivers usually arrive before I have time to find my wallet. Don't forget the brownie which may be the best I have ever had. Soups are pretty good too though I have to be in the mood to eat soup anyway. They stay open after the bars and that is a big plus.
