As soon as I walked in the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the man behind the counter with a huge smile and calm aura! After deciding what I wanted the food came within a reasonable time period. You get the option of chopsticks (good quality) or cutlery . The host also gave a decent demonstration on how to use them which I found amazing for those intimidated by these wooden instruments. I was hoping to have dim sum here, but sadly they changed the menu and no longer offer it—only Vietnamese and Hong Kong-style food. But what I found was extremely wonderful, I ordered combo rice, those are the best roasts I've ever had in the UK, very authentic, and the service is very good. Definitely will come back! Highly recommend.
This this place has changed owners. This is nothing like it used to be. Highly disappointed. The food was extremely disappointing. The meat was tough and served cold. It is the worst Vietnamese food I have ever had. North Street really would be great with a Vietnamese restaurant. But sadly not this one.
