Ownership is great here and friendly! Good liquor store to stop by and grab convenience items quickly.
This store has changed ownership three times in the last couple of years. Mainstay will always be liquor and beer. I like to pick up a bottle of wine and sit on the patio at Rice Things, eat some sushi and have a glass. Probably not legal but no one's ever kicked me out.
I was a semi-regular customer (maybe once a month) but won't go back. I walked in yesterday, said "hello" to the proprietor and went to the cooler to pick up a six pack. I realized that I left my wallet in my bag on my $1,500 bike out front, I went out to give it a look and get my bag. Soon as I walked back in, the proprietor in an arresting tone snapped, "What are you doing!?' I was only a few feet into the store and I was taken aback and at a loss for words.
