Born and raised in Naples, Mario Abitino comes from a long line of Italians who believe that a great home-cooked meal can lift anyone’s spirits. Nothing can make a person feel better than fine Italian food! Having inherited the family’s recipes, Mario was motivated to make his dream of owning a pizza restaurant into a reality.

Great food. Service was not great
Linked account (just to explain my name lol) First time ever in NYC and the first thing I wanted to do was try authentic NYC pizza and this place was right around the corner from our hotel so my wife and I just tried it on a whim. OMG the Tony Roni pizza was phenomenal and my wife had the Uncle Mario pizza which was also incredibly good. Huge portion size for a “personal” pizza.
