The interior of this place could easily pass for the restaurant version of a Mexican quilt. It is that bright and colorful. Traditional Mexico-inspired decor adorns the walls adding even more color. The open dining room is casual and the friendly waitstaff is attentive. Traditional Tex-Mex fare, such as fajitas, enchiladas and burritos are excellent. Other specialties on the menu include broiled quail and a few seafood entrees. Save room for dessert—the flan is excellent here.

Gabby was an excellent server at the Camp Bowie location in Fort Worth, Texas. Her pleasant manner and willingness to serve really made our evening wonderful. She was attentive to all our needs at a table of 11 with 1/2 of them children. Thanks for a great evening! The chicken tamales with verde sauce and lime melt in your mouth!
I've always enjoyed eating here but the last time the food & service was terrible. I had to drink my coffee in a glass cuz they were out of cups and the restaurant wasn't even half full!!! I'll never eat here again.

Firstly we sat outside which was a big mistake tons of flys but that is not the restuarants fault but it was way to noisy inside. I ordered the shrimp and when it came they were not cleaned, I called over the waiter and said that they had forgotten to clean the shrimp only to be told that they only cleaned the jumbo shrimp. Well I dont know about you but I always clean my shrimp before cooking I would never serve uncleaned shrimp. The rice they served was a very small portion and very bland. I was very dissapointed, it was n... read more
I went to Uncle Julio's for the first time last night on Valentine's Day and I will definately be going back! The wait was a little long but what can you expect on Valentine's. The service was really fast and we were very well attended. We ordered the Gordo Platter, a bit pricey but well worth the $55. The fajitas and shrimp were phenomenal! I have eaten at LOTS of Mexican restaurants but this is at the top of the list!! I really recommend Uncle Julio's for a great dining experience.
This establishment needs a sign that warns: WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE for what happens when you pay by credit/debit card. If our waiter/waitress takes your card and goes on a shopping spree; IT'S NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY! Even with clear video/color picture of thier waitress coming out of Target; they still refuse to admit fault.
