RecommendedI love the variety of items available at Uncle Dean's. The staff are always very nice and willing to help with any questions. ♥️ The store is also clean and well stocked.
I was surprised and dismayed today, when some employees did not respect and maintain reasonable physical distance from people. Since none of the employees were wearing masks, it surprised me that they were not more distinctly cautious about distancing.
I'm a long time customer. I was disappointed today with the apparent lack of safety procedures in the store. There was no control of how many people were in the store. There was no indications that carts and baskets were being sanitized between customers. Employees weren't wearing face coverings or shields. There were no barriers between customers and employees at the registers. The credit card machine still requires use of the attached stylus. Everything! Convenient and fresh. This place is awesome!
We have been shopping here for ten years and have been loyal customers. Ever since the new owners bought it they have raised the prices, discontinued everything we use to buy, it is overcrowded and has terrible customer service. I will never be shopping here again. I will take my service to Augusta from now on.
I went there today to buy vanilla beans to make vanilla extract and found they are charging $4.99 for one bean!!! They looked like they had been in the jar for a year or two, small and shrivaled up, definitely not fresh! I know they should be dry but not like this. What's up with that Uncle Dean? So disappointed ☹️
Always great service, well stocked, lots of fresh and interesting local products. I always find something new to try.
