Dr. Jobe Metts & his staff gave me back my dignity. I was hospitalized after my kidneys began to shut down to an enlarged prostate. Dr Metts took over and within a few months had done a procedure called an aqua ablation of my prostate, which essentially trims the size of the prostate down so the bladder can function more normally. He took great effort to make sure I understood the procedure, recovery time and eliminated any surprises that would come post surgery. I want to thank Dr. LaVave and his staff at UNC UROLOGY at Goldsboro for the outstanding attention and care I received during my illness. From the time I checked in it was like I was the only patient there. The attention to detail was amazing. I had several visits with Dr. LaFave before my procedure at UNC Health. Each visit was informative and his clarity in describing my diagnosis set my mind at ease. Dr. LaVave and his colleagues are the best. Thank you for your professionalism and genuine concern.

Came in for labs. Had the very best stick and I was a past cancer patient. And everyone was so happy! Geez, no complaints, what an office! Did not get the lab tech's name. She was awesome....
