My daughter was very sick . I admit we did show up late and they have policies in staff . The moment I walked in they were completely cold and insensitive. Turned me away almost as if I was the laugh of the day . Clean your front desk staff !!!
They say urgent care but require reservations. Often many hours out. They have their own special private definition of urgency and it’s more of a billing thing than a time thing. One gets the sense that if it needs prompt attention you should wait out triage at the ER and help spread the outbreak to the injured and sick people at the hospital.
We have been here 2x and both times, the receptionist almost wouldn’t see my husband because his conditions were “not severe enough” to be seen an hour before closing. 1st visit was a bee sting and he almost went into anaphylactic shock. They originally turned us away and after I made a scene she finally sent a message to the nurses in the back and of course they saw us. OMG-I went there for a UTI-at 4.00pm nurse took my sample then put me in a room at 410 at 5pm I heard nurses laughing making fun of patients- I think they forgot about me. I opened the door and asked if they could send my results to my doctor at UNC Dr Colford I was told NO confused-then a nurse -acting doctor finally came in as I was talking to my sister I ended the call she asked why I was on the phone and asked for my phone confused I showed her my phone she then said your only showing me a black screen give me your phone... read more
I have been to this urgent care several times and always receive excellent, knowledgeable care. I made an appointment the day before my visit, and was seen immediately upon arrival. If you don't want to have a long wait, make an appointment.
