I was admitted to UNC Women’s of Eden for a scheduled induction for my daughter, whose due date was 11/04, but she was born on 10/30. My experience was far from what I expected or hoped for. My induction was delayed due to lack of staff, and I felt as if I was punished for speaking up about it. Despite being on 6ml of Pitocin only 30 minutes in, my request for an epidural at 3cm was not taken seriously. Excellent care, we were treated well here. I recommend UNC Rockingham to any women looking for a birth center in the area! I felt heard in this place, the doctor and nurses really cared. My wishes for natural birth were respected, with the safety net of intervention only if necessary.
