Sadly this was heartbreaking to say the least. This doctor was so caring at first and seemed to really care. After getting a partial hysterectomy where they found endometriosis on my bladder. I had to go back about 4 times after procedure because the pain had become worse. I was dismissed everytime and was told this is normal and literally almost took my life because of the pain. Dr. Patel is by far amazing, as is Dr. Louk! The care that you receive at Westwood is exceptional. Each staff member is kind, considerate, and knowledgeable in their role. Nursing always calls back in a timely manner and walks you through next steps. I have never had an issue getting worked in for an urgent issue and required medication are always called in immediately.
Don't bother trying to set up an appointment. Ive had an appointment for 3 months to get canceled twice by Atrium (literally the day before both times)! They weren't even willing to work with me, just said i would have to wait 2 more months for an appointment. Ridiculous and Unprofessional!
I live in Winston and have made the drive to high point over the last few years to Lori. Recently it has been a rough experience. First they canceled my appointment without looking in the system to see I’m not a new patient. I got it back but the appointment felt very rushed because they deleted my info that I wanted a yearly physical so I don’t think Lori was expecting it. Also, the front desk seemed so rushed.
