UNC is the only hospital in the state that is qualified to take your tax check! The billing department is an absolute joke! They take your tax refund because its impossible to set up payments! Its so bad that i will not use UNC hospitals in the future. After waiting for over an hour (OVER 8 different times) they keep sending me to Wakefield Associates for collections. You know you have an awesome Doctor at this place. Especially when I came in to find out about my stomach cancer. She sat in my lap and hugged me like her own . Her staff is just as great. Not many like her left. Thank you
They go against religious exemption at this facility and refuse to see children who don’t get vaccinated due to religion. They say it’s a UNC requirement but that is a lie because I’ve never been told anything about it for the past 8 years. Instead of driving five minutes I have to drive an hour to UNC Chapel Hill because they see my children and are decent, respectable people.
