It was hard to make the physical therapy appointment even though my insurance doesn't require a referral. But once I got my PCP to call one in, I had a great experience with several of the physical therapists. It's clearly one of the higher functioning, effective departments at UNC. (Minus whoever answers the phone.)
It is absolutely impossible to make a physical therapy appointment here. I'm always transferred to a recording. I've left multiple messages that have never been returned. I've been put on hold for more than 10 minutes without anyone ever coming back. Someones, no one answers the phone at all. I can't imagine a worse-run operation.
