If I could give 0 stars I would the wait time was terrible wait so long to get called back but then if your late to a appointment they cancel but anyways , the test I did were ok with the First Lady there but when I got to Gabriella Szatmary, MD to go over my results it’s like she was very determined to try and diagnose me with something I told her multiple times I didn’t have the symptoms she kept asking me she was very rude and unprofessional I was referred to her from my current eye doctor due to optic nerve swelling in i... read more

They are one of the very few (2) within a 150mi radius that have the ability to do my Special needs non-verbal child's eye exam after her previous provider retired with no notice to us. They declined to attempt to make an appointment for us or even offer any sort of list to be on. We are very familiar with the UNC health system due to my child's special needs and haven't been denied like this before. Wonderful staff, they are polite & friendly. This the best opthalmology office I have ever been to. I recently had cataract surgery with Dr. David Belyea, he was excellent. My son was impressed with the surgeon. I would definitely recommend this office to family and friends.

If someone is having issues and needs to be seen immediately how does that happen if they are booked out until July? Unreal. Its not like I needed a standard eye exam. Something is obviously wrong and she said oh well, sorry we cant see you until summer. Doesnt even make sense. Primary care cant help. Hospital cant help because you just get referred out. So how do you get an exam ??
